The Alabama Collective, in collaboration with Ey3 Technologies, has successfully completed its virtual AWS training program, equipping a new wave of tech talent with foundational cloud computing skills.

Titled “Cloud Computing with AWS,” the intensive 20-hour program took place over three days — November 11–13, 2025 — and drew participants from across the state, including students, job seekers, and career changers eager to break into the fast-growing field of cloud technology. The course prepared participants to earn the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.

Led by experienced professionals from Ey3 Technologies, the course featured hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world projects designed to help participants confidently understand and apply key AWS concepts, including cloud architecture, services, and deployment models.

“We’re proud of every participant who took the step toward upskilling and expanding their career potential,” said Charisse Stokes, Executive Director of The Alabama Collective. “This program was about more than just technical training — it was about creating access and opening doors to real opportunities in tech.”

This initiative is part of The Alabama Collective’s broader mission to build inclusive tech talent pipelines and increase representation in high-demand fields. Through strategic partnerships with leading organizations like Ey3 Technologies, the Collective is helping ensure that more Alabamians have the skills and confidence to thrive in the digital economy.
