Our education programs provide hands-on technical training, industry certifications, and career-focused learning designed to prepare participants for high-demand opportunities in technology and innovation.

From AI and Python to cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analytics, drones, and Agile project management, participants gain practical skills they can use in the classroom, the workplace, or their own ventures.

EY3 Technologies

In partnership with EY3 Technologies, The Alabama Collective provides hands-on technology training designed to help students build in-demand skills, earn industry-recognized certifications, and prepare for careers in today’s digital economy.

AWS Cloud Practitioner Training
Gain foundational knowledge of cloud computing and AWS services while preparing for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential.

Agile Scrum Master Certification
Develop practical skills in Agile principles, Scrum methodology, teamwork, and project management to prepare for modern technology and business environments.

Drone Certification Training
Learn the fundamentals of drone operations, safety, and applications while preparing for FAA certification and exploring opportunities across technology, media, logistics, and other industries.

AI + Python Training
Build foundational programming skills with Python while exploring artificial intelligence through hands-on projects designed to help participants create and understand AI-powered solutions.

Together, The Alabama Collective and EY3 Technologies are helping Alabama learners upskill, reskill, and connect their talents to the careers of the future.

Pivot Tech

In partnership with Pivot Technology School, The Alabama Collective connects students with immersive, career-focused technology bootcamps designed to build practical skills for today’s digital workforce. Through 20-week virtual cohorts, participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world technology applications.

Data Analytics Bootcamp
Learn how to transform data into actionable insights using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, and data visualization. Participants build practical skills through hands-on assignments, projects, and a capstone experience designed to prepare them for entry-level careers in data analytics.

Cybersecurity Bootcamp
Develop foundational skills for protecting networks, systems, and digital information from evolving threats. Participants explore networking, cloud technologies, security operations, digital forensics, incident response, and risk management through hands-on training and real-world applications.

Together, The Alabama Collective and Pivot Technology School are creating accessible pathways for Alabama students to develop high-demand technology skills and prepare for careers in the digital economy.

FAST SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab

The Innovate Alabama SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab, hosted by The Catalyst Center in partnership with The Alabama Collective and GovCon Incubator, supports Alabama’s small businesses in accessing critical federal SBIR/STTR funding, essential for advancing innovation and growth in underserved communities. Backed by a FAST Grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration and Innovate Alabama, the lab actively recruits a diverse cohort, including women-owned, small disadvantaged, and rural businesses.

Thank you for your interest in the SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab, a premier program designed to equip small businesses, researchers, and entrepreneurs with the tools and strategies needed to successfully navigate the SBIR/STTR funding process. Our mission is to empower innovators by providing expert mentorship, hands-on proposal development support, and exclusive access to key industry stakeholders. 
 
We have completed interviews and finalized selections for this cohort, and we are excited to work with an outstanding group of participants on their journey toward securing SBIR/STTR funding.
