The Alabama Collective and Ey3 Technologies Successfully Complete FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification Program, Preparing Alabama’s Next Generation of Drone Professionals
The Alabama Collective, in partnership with Ey3 Technologies, has successfully completed its FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification Program, providing participants with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue FAA Remote Pilot Certification and explore career opportunities in the rapidly growing drone industry.
The intensive training program brought together participants from across Alabama, including students, aspiring entrepreneurs, public safety professionals, technology enthusiasts, and career changers interested in leveraging drone technology for professional and business applications. Through comprehensive instruction and guided preparation, participants gained a strong understanding of the topics covered on the FAA Part 107 Knowledge Test.
Led by experienced instructors and industry professionals, the program covered key areas including FAA regulations, airspace classifications, weather and flight operations, aeronautical decision-making, safety procedures, and responsible drone operation. Participants also received practical insights into how drones are transforming industries such as agriculture, construction, infrastructure inspection, public safety, real estate, media production, and environmental monitoring.

The following participants successfully completed the FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification Program, representing colleges and workforce development organizations from across Alabama. Their participation reflects the growing interest in drone technology and the expanding pipeline of talent being developed through higher education and community-based innovation programs, including Montgomery TechLab.
