Join us for the Pitch Finale & Networking Reception of the HBCU App Build & Pitch Competition, a signature event within the HBCU Innovation Experience hosted by The Alabama Collective. This high-energy evening will showcase the top student teams from across Alabama’s HBCUs as they deliver their final pitches and compete live for $15,000 in cash prizes.
After weeks of building and refining functional applications, finalist teams will take the stage to present their innovations, highlighting technical excellence, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world impact. Attendees will experience inspiring pitches, dynamic demonstrations, and firsthand insight into the future of tech and innovation emerging from Alabama’s HBCUs.
Following the competition, stay for a networking reception connecting students, faculty, industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and community partners. This reception offers a unique opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and celebrate innovation within the HBCU ecosystem.
