On Saturday, August 31, The Alabama Collective, in collaboration with Innovate Alabama, hosted the inaugural Blacks in Tech – Tailgate Experience at the NPHC Legacy Plaza on the campus of Auburn University. With nearly 500 attendees, this event was a vibrant blend of tech, innovation, entrepreneurship, and college football excitement, perfectly timed with the Auburn vs. Alabama A&M game.
The Tailgate Experience was an incredible opportunity for students to connect with industry leaders, mentors, and potential employers. Attendees had the chance to engage with influential professionals and alumni from across the Alabama innovation ecosystem, building connections that could shape their future careers.
In support of future tech leaders, The Alabama Collective proudly donated $5,000 to the NSBE Chapters of both Alabama A&M and Auburn University, reinforcing our commitment to supporting and nurturing minority tech talent.
At The Alabama Collective, we are dedicated to fostering connections and creating opportunities for minority tech talent and entrepreneurs. The success of the Blacks in Tech Tailgate Experience is a testament to our mission and the vibrant community we serve.
